Excellent use of language resources in here Toby. You are using the rhetorical question and imperatives well. Great to see this hanging up, now everyone else can read it and enjoy it.
Reflection I really liked doing this.
13/04/11- Spelling for Rotorua. Next time it would really cool to see some information on the South Island as well - Discussed. - You have done some great research for this piece of work Toby. I can see that you have incorporated 'kiwi's are the best' work into this. Discussed and you are going to write it up now because you have spare time and have completed all of your other work. Dear Dad
Thank you for taking me to the various places we had to go to for our Rimu Amazing Race 2011. We wouldn’t have won if you hadn’t of got out of the school so quickly. You were always helping us to complete activities and racing to get to the next one. It was funny when you were telling Kurtis to slow down and then I ran into an old lady. Woops!
It wouldn’t have been very cool if you weren’t there. I liked it when you drove across the field at the start of the race because every one was in your way and that’s when you passed everyone. That helped us win that day. It was kind of you to buy us a slushy at the end of the race at the beach hop in Waihi. No other parent did that, and everyone wanted some.
An activity I really liked was the Kati Kati Domain when we had to run around and find the murals painted on the walls around the streets. I liked it a lot because we worked really well as a team and had a good time doing it. I really enjoyed the Amazing Race because we came 1st equal and that was rewarding.
It was difficult when the teachers told us to go the wrong way in the Karangahaki Gorge and we had to run there and back. Silly teachers. Boy, did we sleep well that night.
Yours Sincerely Toby.
Reflection: I had a couple spelling mistakes and had to change them around. Tuesday 5th April Class brainstorm of what should be on and in a brochure.
